Girls Empowerment Symposium
Only 243 women have served in the Massachusetts Legislature, compared to more than 20,000 men who have shaped public policy. In recognition of this disparity—and as part of its 50th Anniversary—the Women’s Caucus is hosting a statewide Girls’ Empowerment Symposium, welcoming young women in grades 8–12 from youth-serving and girls’ empowerment programs across the Commonwealth to the Massachusetts State House for a day of exposure, learning, and inspiration.
